Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software network issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Perform routine network audits and updates to ensure security compliance and optimal performance.
- Manage and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and patch panels.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff regarding network usage and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.
- Proven experience with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on identifying root causes of network failures.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
