Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Resolve connectivity issues and implement security protocols
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages
- Stay current with industry certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and troubleshooting
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Flexibility to work adaptable hours (core hours 10 AM - 3 PM)
