Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware failures, and software conflicts.
- Manage IP addressing, VLANs, and routing protocols to ensure optimal network performance.
- Perform routine network audits and maintenance to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network usage and best practices.
- Document network changes, configurations, and maintenance logs accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Certification such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience configuring routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
