Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Proactively monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across diverse environments
- Implement security protocols and enforce compliance standards
- Document network changes and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during system upgrades
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network outages
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco/Juniper hardware and VMware virtualization
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (Nagios, PRTG)
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible hours
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
