Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues across wired/wireless infrastructure
- Implement security protocols and perform vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IT infrastructure projects
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex network outages
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT/Network Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with systematic approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling requirements
