Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Perform proactive monitoring and optimization of network performance
- Diagnose and resolve network outages using provided diagnostic tools
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with security teams to implement network security protocols
- Provide user support for network connectivity issues
- Assist in network capacity planning and scalability projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba networking equipment
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
