Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Diagnose and resolve network outages using provided diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and VPN solutions
- Document network configurations and maintenance logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Perform regular network health checks and capacity planning
- Train junior staff on network operations procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent experience (3+ years)
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco routers/switches and Juniper firewalls
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for LAN/WAN environments
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configurations
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Valid driver's license for equipment transport
