Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Implement security protocols and monitor network performance metrics
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network upgrades and projects
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for complex network incidents
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba network technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional client site visits
