Responsibilities
- Network Administration: Design, implement, and maintain Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs) to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network hardware and software issues with minimal downtime.
- Security Management: Configure firewalls and implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
- Hardware & Cabling: Install, configure, and cable routers, switches, and servers; perform fiber optic termination and management.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, inventory logs, and technical documentation for all systems.
- Support: Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and training to internal staff and end-users.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in network administration or IT support.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
