Responsibilities
- Network Installation & Configuration: Deploy, configure, and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve network issues, latency problems, and hardware failures to ensure maximum uptime.
- Security Management: Implement and monitor security protocols to protect network integrity against cyber threats.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration logs, and technical documentation.
- Support: Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to internal staff and clients regarding network operations.
- Upgrades: Assess network performance and recommend upgrades or optimizations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA, CCNA Routing and Switching, or CompTIA Network+ is highly desirable.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, and OSI models.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
