Key Duties:
- Configure, deploy, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity issues, LAN/WAN outages, and hardware failures.
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds or Nagios to ensure high availability.
- Implement and manage network security protocols to protect organizational data.
- Perform regular network audits and documentation updates for the IT department.
- Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and migrations.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or technical support.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with VPN configurations and network security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
