Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and manage VLAN configurations
- Implement cybersecurity protocols including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topologies and create SOPs for operational procedures
- Provide Tier-2/3 support for LAN/WAN issues and escalate complex problems
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and maintenance
- Perform network upgrades and migrations with zero downtime
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Familiarity with VMware ESXi and Hyper-V virtualization
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2022 Active Directory
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network analyzers
- Ability to work flexible hours for system maintenance
