Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring optimal performance.
- Monitor network traffic and system performance to identify bottlenecks, resolve connectivity issues, and maintain 99.9% uptime.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and security patches to safeguard sensitive data and infrastructure integrity.
- Respond to and resolve help desk tickets and technical support requests with a focus on rapid, effective solutions.
- Collaborate with system engineers and project managers to deploy new network infrastructure and upgrades.
- Document all network configurations, changes, and incidents to ensure compliance and ease of future maintenance.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid CCNA or equivalent networking certification is strongly desired.
- Proven experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista networking equipment.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching technologies.
- Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
