Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) hardware and software.
- Perform physical cable termination, testing, and management for Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic cabling.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and implement security protocols.
- Assist in the deployment of new network infrastructure and equipment upgrades.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding network applications and hardware.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments, including attics and crawlspaces.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation for local travel.
