As a Network Technician Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our senior engineering team to ensure robust network performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Perform physical network cabling tasks, including running CAT6/7 cables, terminating ends, and labeling.
- Identify and resolve basic network connectivity issues and hardware malfunctions.
- Maintain server rooms and IT equipment in a clean, organized, and secure environment.
- Document network changes and assist with inventory management of hardware assets.
Qualifications
- No prior technical experience or certifications are required; we value attitude and aptitude over history.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and understanding of operating systems.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb ladders, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
