Join our dynamic IT team as a Network Technician and become the backbone of our digital infrastructure. We're seeking a skilled professional to design, implement, and maintain robust network solutions that power our growing organization. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week while collaborating with our Wichita-based team on cutting-edge network security and optimization projects.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG tools
- Troubleshoot complex network issues with Wireshark and packet analysis
- Implement VLAN segmentation and VPN solutions for secure remote access
- Document network topology and configuration changes in ServiceNow
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid cloud integrations
- Conduct quarterly network vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Engineering or CompTIA Network+
- 3+ years of hands-on Cisco/Juniper equipment experience
- CCNA/CCNP certification required (CCIE preferred)
- Proficiency with SD-WAN implementation (Cisco Viptela or VMware SD-WAN)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and DNS protocols
- Experience with network automation using Python/Ansible
- Valid Kansas driver's license for occasional on-site visits
