Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and optimize network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively address issues
- Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure from threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational IT initiatives
- Document network configurations and maintain accurate technical documentation
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for network-related user issues
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with LAN/WAN implementation and maintenance
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure
