Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Implement security protocols including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Document network configurations and create detailed technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network outages and service disruptions
- Perform network upgrades and migrations while ensuring minimal downtime
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues and escalations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or equivalent certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN implementation
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools and packet analysis
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose complex issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CompTIA Network+ certification a plus
