Responsibilities
- Network Installation & Configuration: Deploy and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Cabling & Infrastructure: Perform structured cabling, fiber optic termination, and physical infrastructure maintenance.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, latency problems, and security breaches.
- Network Optimization: Monitor network performance using tools like Wireshark or SolarWinds and implement optimization strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration backups, and technical logs.
- Security Compliance: Enforce network security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in network administration or engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, OSPF, and BGP protocols.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network scenarios.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
