Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Resolve network outages and security incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on threat mitigation strategies
- Support cloud infrastructure integration (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN deployments
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto technologies
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues using diagnostic tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
