Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Diagnose and resolve network outages, security breaches, and connectivity issues
- Implement network security protocols including VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and access controls
- Document network configurations, changes, and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with cloud services teams for hybrid infrastructure management
- Provide tier-3 support escalation for critical network incidents
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configurations
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) and SD-WAN solutions
- Strong troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools and packet analysis
- Familiarity with network automation (Ansible, Python) preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in remote settings
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site visits
