Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Wireshark
- Document network topology, configurations, and maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security protocols
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and incidents
- Lead network upgrade projects and hardware refresh initiatives
- Train junior technicians on network best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
