Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA timelines
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premise and AWS/Azure infrastructure
- Implement VLANs, VPNs, and QoS policies for optimized traffic flow
- Conduct regular network audits and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ASA/FTD
- Strong troubleshooting skills using Wireshark and ping/trace utilities
- Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in server rack environments
