Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively resolve connectivity issues
- Implement network security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshoot procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integration and upgrades
- Provide Tier-2/3 technical support for network-related incidents
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies to enhance efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in Cisco IOS, Juniper, or equivalent network platforms
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues independently
- Valid California driver's license for occasional site visits
