Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively address security vulnerabilities
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and implement solutions to minimize downtime
- Document network configurations, topologies, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to support network-related projects and system upgrades
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational security policies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field; Bachelor's preferred
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience in enterprise environments
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required; CCNP or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and network protocols
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network infrastructure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings
