Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal network performance.
- Perform regular network audits and security updates to protect organizational data.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, configurations, and changes.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Manage physical network cabling and fiber optic installations.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Valid Cisco CCNA or JNCIA certification is highly preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in network administration or telecommunications.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (including climbing ladders/telecom poles).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
