Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software network issues, including connectivity problems and slow performance.
- Perform regular network audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Administer and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff regarding network usage and troubleshooting.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incidents accurately.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience in network installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with network management tools and software (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
