Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Perform routine network audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Respond to and resolve network connectivity issues and service tickets in a timely manner.
- Assist in the physical cabling and patching of network infrastructure.
- Document network changes, configurations, and maintenance logs accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business-critical applications.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Certificate in Network Administration, IT, or related field (Preferred).
- 2+ years of experience as a Network Technician or helpdesk support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols.
- Familiarity with Cisco and/or Juniper networking equipment.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (including server rooms).
