Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Cisco Prime
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across hybrid environments
- Implement security protocols including VPNs and intrusion detection systems
- Document network topology and create technical documentation
- Provide Tier 3 support for enterprise clients in the Gulf Coast region
- Collaborate with cloud services teams on AWS/Azure integrations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with remote monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, Nagios)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional on-site visits
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies preferred
