Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and proactively address issues
- Implement security protocols to protect network infrastructure from vulnerabilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for network-related user problems
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams on network upgrades and infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or enterprise-grade networking equipment
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with network infrastructure issues
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
