Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and optimize for maximum efficiency
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance
- Document network configurations, maintenance logs, and incident reports
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support to resolve network-related issues promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure upgrades and expansions
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging networking technologies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Network Administration, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network equipment
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols
- CompTIA Network+ or CCNA certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities for complex network issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license for occasional on-site client visits
