Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG
- Resolve network outages and security incidents within SLA timelines
- Document network topology, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security best practices
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network issues
- Assist in capacity planning and network upgrades
Qualifications
- Associate degree in IT or equivalent certification (CompTIA Network+, CCNA)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper routing and switching
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with OSI model application
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS/Azure VPCs)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
