Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and Nagios
- Diagnose and resolve network outages within SLA requirements
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network topology and configuration changes
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware procurement and support
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related user issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS/Juniper Junos CLI
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, and BGP
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotation
