Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to identify bottlenecks
- Implement security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and service requests
- Document network configurations, topologies, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cloud engineers on hybrid network architecture projects
- Conduct capacity planning and hardware refresh cycles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper network equipment
- CCNA/CCNP or equivalent industry certification required
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Python)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with OSI model knowledge
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
