Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity issues to ensure high availability.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades on servers and cabling infrastructure.
- Respond to help desk tickets and provide tier 2 technical support to employees.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining network security protocols and policies.
- Document network configurations, changes, and procedures accurately.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment and hardware.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
