Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Perform routine network maintenance and ensure network performance is optimized.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software network issues efficiently.
- Monitor network traffic and security to prevent unauthorized access.
- Document network architecture, configurations, and changes for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with system administrators to ensure seamless integration of network services.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Valid CCNA, CCNP, or Network+ certification is a plus.
- Proven experience with network cabling, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and DNS protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be available for on-call rotation for critical network outages.
