Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Implement security protocols including VPN, ACLs, and intrusion prevention systems
- Document network configurations using Visio and network mapping software
- Collaborate with cloud teams to hybridize on-premise and AWS/Azure environments
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex network outages and performance issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise network administration
- CCNA or equivalent industry certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, VMware SD-WAN)
- Knowledge of network security best practices (IDS/IPS, NAC)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
