Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance and ensure 99.99% uptime for critical infrastructure
- Drive DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline automation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Lead architectural decisions and technology stack evaluations
- Contribute to open-source projects and represent company at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ in leadership roles
- Expert proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with cloud deployment (AWS/Azure)
- Strong background in distributed systems, Kubernetes, and containerization
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design expertise
