Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain low-latency software components for equity options trading systems.
- Integrate and process real-time market data feeds from global exchanges.
- Debug and optimize existing code to ensure sub-microsecond execution speeds.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers and traders to implement new trading strategies.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with C++, Python, or Java.
- Experience with Linux environments and scripting languages (Bash, Perl).
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, sockets) and asynchronous programming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
