Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic to intermediate statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and provide support.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex data into simple insights.
