Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various internal and external sources and perform rigorous cleaning to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or Excel) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Report Generation: Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly analytical reports, highlighting trends and anomalies for management review.
- Database Support: Support the data engineering team in maintaining database integrity and performing basic database queries.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
- Market Research: Conduct basic market research and competitive analysis to support strategic planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data workflows and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- SQL Basics: Familiarity with SQL (SELECT, JOINs, WHERE clauses) is highly preferred.
- Data Visualization: Interest or exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical team members clearly.
- Relocation Eligibility: Must be willing to relocate to the Raleigh, NC area.
- Attitude: A proactive, eager-to-learn mindset with a strong attention to detail.
