Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection: Gather and aggregate data from multiple sources including databases, spreadsheets, and web APIs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Data Cleaning & Preparation: Process and clean large datasets to remove errors and inconsistencies, preparing them for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Utilize visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to create intuitive dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Report Generation: Generate regular reports for stakeholders summarizing findings and trends.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- No Experience Necessary: Open to entry-level candidates; a strong aptitude for data is more important than past history.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required. Experience with SQL or Python is a plus but not mandatory.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot anomalies in data.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data simply.
- Tools: Eagerness to learn and use data visualization software.
