Responsibilities
- Assist in Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather data from various sources and ensure accuracy through cleaning and preprocessing.
- Support Reporting: Help create daily, weekly, and monthly reports for stakeholders to aid in decision-making.
- Database Exploration: Learn and utilize SQL to query databases and retrieve necessary datasets.
- Visualization: Use tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to create clear and compelling visualizations.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns in business data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and operations teams to understand their data needs.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes and analytical methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excel Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and charts.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with SQL or basic programming concepts (Python/R is a plus but not required).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors in data and maintain high data integrity standards.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: A logical approach to solving business problems using data-driven insights.
