Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for suspicious activities and potential threats.
- Assist in the investigation and triage of security alerts and incidents.
- Support the maintenance of security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct basic vulnerability assessments and patch management tasks under supervision.
- Participate in red and blue team exercises to understand defensive and offensive strategies.
- Document findings and communicate technical issues to senior security engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the cybersecurity domain.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Clearance to work in the United States.
