Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events across the enterprise network 24/7.
- Conduct threat hunting and forensic investigations during off-peak hours.
- Manage and tune SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to optimize detection capabilities.
- Perform incident response and root-cause analysis for security breaches.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless coverage and knowledge transfer.
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with NIST and ISO standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a SOC environment, specifically within a Night Shift capacity.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ (Required).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and IDS/IPS technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and maintain high energy levels.
- Experience with relocation processes is a plus.
