Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze potential threats using SIEM platforms
- Document and escalate security incidents following established protocols
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Participate in security awareness campaigns and internal training
- Conduct forensic investigations under senior analyst guidance
- Update and maintain security documentation and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CompTIA Security+ or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to work rotating shifts (including nights/weekends if required)
- Valid U.S. driver's license (for occasional on-site duties)
