Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and incident response platforms for suspicious activity
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and maintain case files
- Implement basic security controls and configurations
- Participate in security awareness training programs
- Collaborate with senior analysts on threat intelligence analysis
- Perform routine security audits and compliance checks
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation
