What You Will Do:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Assist in the deployment of new hardware and software updates across the organization.
- Monitor system performance and assist in maintaining a secure IT environment.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or recently graduated).
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/macOS) and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
- Support: Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Deployment: Assist in the installation, configuration, and deployment of workstations and peripherals.
- Asset Management: Maintain accurate records of IT inventory and equipment maintenance.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for internal staff regarding technical inquiries.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with Windows operating systems (10/11) and basic networking concepts.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Attitude: A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience: Previous internship experience in IT support is a plus but not required.
