Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and chat for internal and external customers
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware/software systems including desktops, laptops, and network devices
- Document technical issues and solutions using ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira)
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex technical escalations
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness training and implement basic security protocols
- Assist with asset management and inventory control procedures
- Complete industry certification training (CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Professional)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service mindset
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Windows/macOS environments
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Valid driver's license (for occasional equipment transport)
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs for hardware installations
