Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including printers, laptops, and operating systems.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new user workstations and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate records of IT incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain network security protocols.
- Participate in on-site and remote technical training sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of PC hardware components and operating systems (Windows 10/11).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to obtain relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) during the training period.
